Delete data — IgrejaGo

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data in the IgrejaGo app and platform (developer: IgrejaGo) without deleting your account.

How to request data deletion

  1. Email contato@igrejago.com with the subject “LGPD — IgrejaGo data deletion”.
  2. Include your IgrejaGo account email, the linked church name, and which data you want deleted, anonymized, or corrected (or say you want as much deleted as possible while keeping the account).
  3. Confirm the request when we ask for identity verification (for example, by replying from the same account email).
  4. If the data is controlled by your church, you may also ask that church’s leadership/admin directly; IgrejaGo will forward or guide when appropriate.

Data that may be deleted or anonymized

  • Unnecessary, excessive, or unlawfully processed personal data when there is no legal duty to keep it — for example optional profile fields, preferences, and content you identify that is eligible.
  • Operational copies or records tied to you that can be deleted or anonymized without breaking the account or legal duties.
  • Data your church (controller of that environment) authorizes or orders to be deleted in the community context.

Data that may be retained

  • Data needed to keep the account active (such as login email and authentication) while the account exists.
  • Records the church or IgrejaGo must keep for legal, tax, contractual, security, fraud-prevention, audit, terms-acceptance, or rights-defense reasons.
  • Residual backup copies until the normal retention cycle ends, isolated from day-to-day use; aggregated or already anonymized statistics may continue without personal identification.

Requests are reviewed within a reasonable time under applicable privacy law. When deletion or anonymization proceeds, it applies to day-to-day systems; residual backups follow the usual infrastructure cycle.
